Gir National Park- The Best wildlife Sanctuary
Gir Forest is one of the best National Parks in Gujrat which is also a wildlife sanctuary and term as Sasan-Gir by an additional name, in India. The park was set up in the year 1965 on the 18th of September. Gir national park was well known in the year of 1965 and it is situated 58 km from Junagadh city with a totality locale of 1412 km². The park makes the greatest conservation ground for the famed Asiatic Lions which roamed around freely nearly 2 centuries back in the wildernesses of the Middle East and of some of the parts of the Indian subcontinent but is now an endangered species.
